Steam overlay can cause some issues with split screen.
Disable Steam overlay by right-clicking Borderlands 2 in Steam -> Properties and un-check ‘Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game’.
If the mouse cursor is flickering, set VSync on in the Video options.
You can usually set this in your mouse configuration program (look on the manufacturer’s website).
If you have inconsistent mouse movement, especially when moving multiple mice, make sure the polling rates on your mice are set as low as possible.
Hi, I'm having this problem connecting to both of my 2 other friends.I was playing with one earlier today for several hours, and the other separately for several hours until 1 hour ago. Someone also posted this problem in the Steam forums, but sadly Gearbox has yet to post the game ports so we can't even try a port forward solution.I really hope port forward is not a requirement for a solution here as many gamers really do not understand how to implement port forward on their home networks, and not all routers are easily configurable. He can't join up with me through my invitation either and we've both ensured the game and steam is allowed through our fire walls.Me and my friend can each join random public matches but not each others.Does anyone have any knowledge on this issue that might help me resolve it?The major appeal for me right now is to play co-op and I simply can't =/.
